1. Provide an overview of the structure of the Michigan Science Standards and related resources from
the Next Generation Science Standards.
2. Explore how to engage students in the three‐dimensional learning of the standards.
3. Discuss the impacts of the conceptual shifts on classrooms, and school districts.
