Fisher is home to the Departments of Physics and Mathematical Sciences. Built in 1962, it is named after James Fisher, form head of the physics department. Many first-year students will attend classes here. Our largest lecture hall, Fisher 135, seats 476 and is located in the southeast corner of the building. Most weekends, this room doubles as the campus movie theater. The Michigan Tech Film Board shows recent movies at a low cost for students, staff, faculty, and community members. The Math and Physics Learning Centers are also located here.
