Miko Peled's talk was great as was the discussion. However, I was shocked by whomever took over his livestream and left offensive content on his presentation. We are a technological university. We should be able to make sure that this doesn't happen and have protocol in place to intervene when it does. I hope this never again happens at an MTU talk and that the talk organizers have alerted the MTU police to make sure it wasn't an MTU student doing these offensive actions. I also hope that this inspires MTU to have a plan in place for when/if this happens again. We must do better.

Apparently, no one know showed up, we were almost 10 students there waiting for some company representatives. Wasted out time.
