American Society of Mechanical Engineers

Established to advance and disseminate knowledge of the theory and practice of mechanical engineering; presentation of proper perspective of engineering work; afford the opportunity to become acquainted with the personnel and activities of the Society. The American Society for Mechanical Engineers is the most popular mechanical engineering organization on campus. ASME participates in a variety of different activities such as internal design challenges, volunteer work, and even organizing a Cardboard sled race, as well as many events partnered with companies.
