As the Michigan Tech chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society, we wish to use the organization to promote unity, knowledge and networking among the Biomedical Engineering department. We hope to encourage students to have a personal relationship with one another and the faculty, as well as provide opportunities to expand their knowledge and understanding of biomedical research, breakthroughs and career paths. We plan to accomplish these goals through social activities, guest and faculty lectures, community outreach and other activities.
