National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers

The National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers is dedicated to building an eminent cadre of people of color in science and technology In pursuit of this mission NOBCChE initiates and supports local, regional, national, and global programs that assist people of color in fully realizing their potential in academic, professional, and entrepreneurial pursuits in chemistry, chemical engineering, and related fields. The MTU NOBCChE Student Chapter was founded in May 2019 by a group of students in the department of chemistry and chemical engineering and other STEM-related fields who appreciate the need for an association to build and promote black scientists. We are happy to have both undergraduates and graduates join this student chapter.
