OVC's mission is to provide students with a simple and affordable way to get out and explore while creating an environment that fosters the development of leadership skills and confidence in the outdoors. We provide members with the funding, gear, and know-how for almost any outdoor adventure. Any MTU student can join and go on weekly trips to wherever the group decides to go that week. We go on day hikes, overnight camping, backpacking, snowshoeing, and more. Membership also includes the option to check out gear from our inventory. In addition to exploring the Keweenaw and greater UP, Outdoor Venture Crew is a fantastic way to get involved in student life and meet great people.
