Established to encourage organized firearm shooting among the students and faculty of Michigan Technological University as well as the general public; improve the knowledge involving safe handling and proper care of firearms; introduce the shooting sports to people with no shooting experience, as well as improving the marksmanship of club members Membership: Membership is granted upon payment of dues. Membership fees are $30 a year, or $15 a semester. Membership fees cover usage of our firearms. Anyone who is interested in trying it out but unsure if they want to join can come to their first night for free after filling out the member/guest form and receiving a safety briefing and a live fire training. After this they may purchase rounds from the range. Non-Students must purchase a $10 day pass from the SDC ticket office in order to use the range. The groups must be a minimum of 5 people and consist of Michigan Tech students only.
