We are open to students from all majors and backgrounds. Even if you are not interested in trains, students are encouraged to check us out. Our most frequent event is our monthly meetings where we feature a guest speaker from industry. During our meetings and field trips, REAC covers all topics; the trains, the tracks and bridges, the signals and computer systems, the operations, the business, and even museums and preservation efforts. The railroad industry provides a unique career path for all majors, and believe it or not, most people working in the industry today never saw themselves working there when they started college.
