Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded at Richmond College, now the University of Richmond, on November 1, 1901, on the Cardinal Principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Today, the Fraternity has grown to more than 262,000 lifetime members, including 13,500 undergraduates on 260 campuses in the United States. SigEp is currently the largest fraternity in terms of undergraduate enrollment. Our mission statement is “Building Balanced Leaders for the World’s Communities.” Locally, Sigma Phi Epsilon promotes leadership both on campus as well as within the fraternity, community service, healthy living habits, and most importantly academics. Members are motivated to constantly improve themselves and develop in preparation for life after college.
