The Smithing Guild

Have you ever wanted to shape steel into useful tools or amazing pieces of art? Have you ever wanted to work with red hot steel? Do you just like to hit things with hammers? Then welcome to the Smithing Guild! The Smithing Guild is devoted to the safe teaching and practice of the art of forging and metal working. We meet in the M&M Foundry where we allow open forging for members to create, collaborate and learn in a safe environment. Meetings are Fridays from 2 till 7pm, and you are free to drop in and out as you please. However, safety training is required before members are allowed in the foundry. If you'd like to take the safety course (~20 min) please contact the current president with your school email. Members can request lessons also be taught through the president or fellow members, but are also free to create what they please.
