Named after former Michigan Tech President Ray Smith, the MEEM is where you'll find our Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The second-tallest building in the Upper Peninsula, the MEEM consists of 11 floors with more than 55,000 square feet of lab space and spectacular views of the Keweenaw Waterway. It also houses the Engineering Learning Center on the second floor.
