I'd say it could be better planned to avoid long waiting lines, and lack of parking spaces, but apart form that it was great!

All of the companies I spoke with were very kind. Overall, it was a great experience. My only recommendation is to get a larger space because it was very hard to walk from one booth to the next because there were so many people.

There were positives and negatives. One of the biggest negatives was the line to get the name tags. It was poorly managed in the sense that there were two lines and if you walked in on the other end of the building you were in a line a quarter as long as if you walked into the main entrance. Next time there should be more communication revolving around the fact that you are planning on making people do that.

One huge positive was the Career Fair+ app. You guys paid a lot of attention to detail and whoever the main programmer was on that should get a raise because they did a phenomenal job, seriously, phenomenal. I was extremely impressed with the easiness and responsiveness of the app AND it never crashed even when everybody was using it. That was a huge success.

One other thing I think should have some attention is companies changing the way that they treat career fair. I do not go to career fair to have these companies tell me to go apply online. I think there should be a robust process that basically tells these people that the whole point of career fair is to hire people, and when they say, well go ahead and apply on line and we will check out your resume/application. Etc. It gets old, and quite frankly makes me not want to work for a company. Now I understand if there aren't any opening, but it just doesn't make sense to me that they don't want to sign people up for interviews and call backs.

Pretty crowded, as always. I had to stand in line for about 20 minutes just for a name tag. But once inside I didn't have too many issues. Standing in line for employers isn't something that can be helped.
But there was an unreasonable difficulty in just getting water. I had to track down a water fountain that was far away from everything, because all the water being distributed was for the employers (who by the way, didn't have to do much walking through the throngs of students in stuffy suits among thousands of other bodies of heat).

This event is not really for grad students many employers said they had internships and co-ops and were looking for grad student but when I got to them they said they didn't have anything for grad students.
